Overview

We worked with Weymouth College on a number of projects to enhance their Green Skills adult learning courses.

Our first assignment involved developing a 2-day course, titled “An introduction to Modern Methods of Construction (MMC)”.  We worked with professionals across multi-sectors to develop a course aimed at growing the skills and knowledge within the construction industry.

The course was offered by Weymouth College, for free to housing professionals looking to explore a delivery programme inclusive of MMC opportunities.  The course involved footage showing the process from factory to site, with pre-recorded presentations from experts in legal, design, planning and employer agent professions.

Following on from the success of this fully funded course, Weymouth College then commissioned CAMS to support them with the process of bringing the course as an “endorsed” course, allowing Weymouth College to continue to offer the training to the housing and construction sectors.

Futhermore, Weymouth College commissioned CAMS to provide a training course on whole life cycle cost analysis.  This included introducing the principles of asset management.
